Mark Dutcher!

Mark Dutcher is a painter working out of his Culver City studio.

Mark took a little time to talk about his wide range of painted and sculptural works, influences, and the history of the creative impulse:

Mark makes use of an eclectic array of materials (including glitter, oil paint, pipe cleaners, suede, studs, feathers, cast foam bricks) to cultivate rich textured surfaces that prominently feature handwritten text and personal symbols:
